Allway Tools is a leading tool manufacturer in Bronx, NY for big-box retailers like Home Depot and Walmart. Allway Tools is searching for a hands-on Assistant Buyer to work closely with our Purchasing Manager. You will be responsible for placing orders, sourcing goods, managing Chinese suppliers, and maintaining sufficient inventory level.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand and replenish stock as needed

· Work closely with sales department and purchase manger to plan and execute purchase orders

· Maintain accurate records of inventory levels in the system

· Resolve any issues or discrepancies with orders, deliveries, and invoices

· Process purchase orders and track delivery schedules with vendors

· Contact Chinese vendors for quotes, lead times, and shipping estimates

Preferred Qualifications

· Proven work experience as Purchasing Assistant/Buyer or supply chain experience

· Fluent in Mandarin Chinese

· Experience with Excel, Word, and ERP computer systems (Microsoft Business Central)

· Experience with Inventory Forecast System is a plus

· Attention to details – analyzing documents and invoices for errors

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
